POLISH PHYSICAL SOCIETY

The aim of the Polish Physical Society (founded in 1920) is advancement and diffusion of the knowledge of physics, integration of all physicists independently of their place of employment and representation of physicists' community.

In order to become a member of PPS it is necessary to fill up an application form and pay the PPS membership fee. It is obligatory to attach to the application a nomination signed by two members of PPS.

  • others (mainly scientific workers): 327
• PPS annual membership fee (including Postepy Fizyki, 1 US$ = 2.8 zloty, 1 € = 4.0 zloty):
  • members with degree Dr. hab. or title professor: 120 zloty
  • persons with Ph.D.: 80 zloty
  • members without Ph.D.: 40 zloty
  • pensioners: 40 zloty
• associate members (mainly scientific institutes): 12
  • minimum fee: 500 zloty
